GLBT Democrats, and friends of same, working within the Democratic Party to advance the rights of all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

 Mission Statement:

Sensitize and educate Democratic candidates and officeholders and the Democratic Party to the issues and concerns of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender (GLBT) community.
Promote the Democratic Party's message of economic justice and social equality in the GLBT community.
Encourage GLBT participation in the campaigns of Democratic candidates and at all levels of the Democratic Party.
Elect Democratic candidates to public office by maximizing the Democratic turnout in the GLBT community.

Mission Statement:   We, as the  Austin Latino/a Lesbian & Gay Organization, Inc. (ALLGO), come together to validate and affirm our lives as Latino/a lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgenders.  We seek to empower our community through political, educational, cultural, social and health programs and services. We recognize that our struggle is linked to the struggle of all other oppressed peoples and agree to always lead the struggle against all forms of discrimination and oppression in order to transform the world.

LAMBDA Services Anti-Violence Project

Founded in 1991, LAMBDA Services is an international, all-volunteer, non-profit, LesBiGay organization. LAMBDA proudly sponsors the following programs:

Anti-Violence Project (AVP) works to prevent and assist victims of anti-gay hate. LAMBDA is a national tracking member of the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Projects.
Youth OUTReach provides activities for lesbigay teens and young adults aged 15-21.
LAMBDA Line is an interactive telephone line that offers information on a variety of issues of interest to the queer community.
