So far, we know of no book award specifically for queer theorists, so the goal would seem to be to queer the awards that are out there already. Of course, there are awards for LGBT writers and themes:
The FABs were started in 1996 by a group of book industry professionals to celebrate and publicize the best in alternative publishing. This year's FAB presentation was once again held in conjunction with the BookExpo America convention in Chicago. Poet Eileen Myles acted as master of ceremonies.
